Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Lupa Vagas (lupavagas.app.br). By creating an account or using the platform, you declare that you have read and agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Acceptance

Using Lupa Vagas means accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy. To create an account you must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and, in the case of companies, the authority to represent them.

The service

Lupa Vagas is a free platform that connects candidates and companies: candidates search for jobs, calculate how well they match their own profile and apply; companies post jobs, receive applications, organize the hiring process and can search for talent.

Lupa Vagas is not an employer, does not take part in hiring and does not guarantee that you will receive an offer, an interview or a job. The compatibility calculated by the platform is decision support, not a promise of results. The decision to hire always belongs to the company.

Your account

  • Provide true information and keep it up to date.
  • Activate the account through the link sent to your email.
  • Your password is personal and non-transferable: do not share it and let us know if you suspect misuse.
  • You are responsible for the activity carried out on your account.

Rules for candidates

  • Fill in your profile with true information about experience, education and skills.
  • Apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in.
  • Do not use the platform to send spam, bulk-copy data or harm other users.
  • No serious company charges candidates to take part in a hiring process. If a job asks for payment, do not pay and let us know.

Rules for companies

  • Post only real, current jobs that you are authorized to advertise.
  • Charging candidates any amount to take part in the hiring process or to be hired is prohibited.
  • Publishing discriminatory, misleading or unlawful content, or content that violates third-party rights, is prohibited. The company is solely responsible for the content of its jobs.
  • Use candidate data only for the hiring process of the job in question, in compliance with the LGPD and the Privacy Policy. Reselling, disclosing or using this data for other purposes is prohibited.
  • Keep the company information correct and up to date, and close or update jobs that are no longer open.

Job publication and distribution

Published jobs are public. By posting a job, the company authorizes it to be shown on an open Lupa Vagas page, to appear in search engines, including Google for Jobs, to be notified to search engines through protocols such as IndexNow, and to be distributed to job aggregators through public feeds. Final display on third-party services depends on each service's rules and decisions, and Lupa Vagas does not control it.

Availability and limitation of liability

We work to keep the platform available, but it is provided as is, and interruptions, maintenance and failures may occur. To the extent permitted by law, Lupa Vagas is not liable for:

  • hiring or non-hiring decisions made by companies;
  • the accuracy of information entered by candidates and companies;
  • jobs, offers or contacts made outside the platform;
  • unavailability or failures of third-party services, such as search engines and aggregators.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Suspension and closing of accounts

We may suspend, restrict or close accounts and remove content that violates these Terms, the law or third-party rights, or that puts the platform and users at risk, with or without prior notice when urgent. You may stop using the platform at any time and may request deletion of your account through the contact page.

Intellectual property

The Lupa Vagas brand, layout and code belong to their owners and may not be copied or used without authorization. The content you enter (profile, company data, jobs) remains yours, and you authorize us to display and process it to the extent necessary to run the service, as described in these Terms and in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy

The processing of personal data follows the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms to reflect changes in the service or in the law. The update date appears at the top of this page, and relevant changes will be announced on the platform. If you keep using the service after a change, we understand that you agree to the new version.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts, subject to consumer rights where applicable.
